About the Artist
My name is Jennifer, artist of Lula Mae's Reborn Nursery. I have been married for 25 years to my wonderful husband, Kip. We have 3 children and 2 precious grandbabies.
I am a Professional Photographer, I shoot Weddings, Bridal portraits, Engagement, Pregnancy, Mommie and Me, Senior portraits, sports , pre-schools and the list goes on. I have been in business for 10 years. Being a photographer is very rewarding.
I began reborning about 5 years ago and my LIFE has not been the same since. Reborning is also very rewarding,beginning with an unfinished sculpt and finishing with a doll that will leave you asking "Is this a REAL BABY?"
Dolls have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember, my fondest memories of my childhood are of me and my babies. The more realistic and lifelike the better. So, of course when I discovered reborning or rather when it discovered me. A little story behind the naming of my nursery
Naming my nursery was easy for me, Lula Mae was my grandmother's name. She passed away on December 5th, 2005 at the age of 100.
My grandmother was very special to me,she had a special place in her heart for children. She opened her home to foster kids for many years,she was also the director of her church daycare center for years. She loved little ones of all ages. She taught me how to love unconditionally and to always look for the good in all things.
